TERMS & CONDITIONS
All online orders are subject to stock availability. All goods supplied are subject to the following Terms & Conditions:
All goods at all times remain the property of Inspire Event Hire.
Following the request to hire goods, an Order confirmation will be sent to the hirer. It is the responsibility of the hirer to carefully check the conformation Order and immediately notify Inspire Event Hire Ltd., in writing, of any errors. Inspire Event Hire Ltd., cannot be held responsible for any unreported errors.
The hire period is for up to 3 days (72 hours) unless otherwise agreed in advance. A further hire charge will be made for any or all goods kept longer than that arranged.
Hired goods will not be delivered if;
- Full payment, including the security deposit, has not been paid and the Terms and Conditions of hire have not been signed.
- The premises to which the delivery is to be made is locked or inaccessible.
- The hired goods need to be carried more than 40ft from our delivery vehicles (unless otherwise agreed in advance).
- Delivery is to one address only. (unless otherwise agreed in advance).
Charges for delivery and collection will be quoted when an order is made. Delivery charges will be based on mileage at a rate of £2.50 per mile excl. VAT.
The hirer should ensure that a responsible person is at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods.
The hirer must be satisfied before signing to accept the goods that all equipment ordered has been delivered and our attention should be drawn to any issues, miscounts, omissions, wrong deliveries, or damaged equipment. Any query regarding any goods hired MUST be brought to our attention prior to use.
Deliveries left unattended at the Hirer’s premises are at the Hirer’s risk.
It is the Hirer’s responsibility to keep all hired goods, including their carriage boxes/bags, safe, dry and in the same usable state to which they were delivered in. Any missing boxes will be charged a fee of £15 for replacement and £10 for linen bags.
All goods hired should be boxed/bagged in their original carriage boxes/bags ready for collection from one location on the day and time arranged.
Goods maybe returned dirty/soiled. Food wastes and liquids must be removed from items before packing for its return.
Any linen hired must be shook free of any debris and be dry before being placed in our linen bags. (Please be aware that the use of candles, table confetti and pens can leave un removeable burns and stains on table linen). Linen returned in an irreparable state will be charged to the hirer at the replacement value.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all hired goods are either returned to Inspire Event Hire, by themselves or are all put together in one location for Inspire Event Hire to collect. Second collections are not made without a charge.
Inspire Event Hire’s carriage boxes are the only items counted at the point of collection. All orders hired will be individually counted and checked at Inspire Event Hire’s address. Hirers’ will be informed of any missing items/goods and or any items/goods deemed damaged and un-useable. The cost of replacing these items/goods will be deducted from the security deposit made. Any items found by the hirer after the return, or collection of their order, may be returned to Inspire Event Hire Ltd., for a refund of the cost of replacing the goods, up to a maximum of 72 hours.
Inspire Event Hire Ltd., will not make any additional collections for items found.
Inspire Event Hire Ltd., reserves the right to adjust hire prices up to the point that full payment for the order placed has been made.
The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the goods, from time of delivery until Inspire Event Hire Ltd., collect them.
It is not the responsibility of Inspire Event Hire Ltd., to install or set up gas appliances (unless pre-arranged). It is entirely the responsibility of a competent hirer to connect and operate gas appliances. All gas appliances are tested before leaving Inspire Event Hire Ltd. All gas appliances must be used in a well-ventilated area. (See our Usage Instructions Page)
It is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange insurance cover, if required.
Inspire Event Hire Ltd., accepts no liability for any injury to persons or property caused by the use of, or the moving of the goods and equipment hired from Inspire Event Hire Ltd.
All equipment provided by Inspire Event Hire Ltd., is at the hirer’s risk. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure equipment is used by suitably trained and competent person(s).
CANCELLATIONS. The hire value, including VAT, but not including delivery and collection will be charged at the following rates:
- 15 days+ prior to the hire date/event there are no cancellation charges.
- 14-7 days prior to the hire date/event will be charged 50% of the total value.
- 0-7 days prior to the hire date/event will be charged 100% of the total value.
- Delivery staff being delayed due to not being able to access a building on delivery or collection.
- Any clearing, boxing or bagging required at the collection point.
- Food waste/liquids not removed from soiled return goods.
A security deposit paid is in addition to the invoice total and will be kept until your order has been returned/collected and checked. If all goods have been returned satisfactorily, the deposit will be returned to the hirer in full. If any goods are found to be missing, broken or damaged on the return of the hirers’ order, the cost of replacing those goods will be deducted from the deposit before the remainder is refunded to the hirer.
